On May 5, 1921, the classic fragrance Chanel No. 5 premiered. This timeless, iconic composition was created by perfumer Ernest Beaux at the request of Coco Chanel to capture the very essence of femininity in a scent. The couturier chose the fifth sample of the fragrance, distinguished by its rich and vibrant olfactory bouquet, thanks to the combination of bright aldehyde accords with exquisite floral motifs. In 1986, perfumer Jacques Polge reimagined the legendary aromatic melody in an eau de parfum, enhanced with a citrus accord. Top noteof the eau de parfum opens with floral-fruity overtones of exotic ylang-ylang and peach, intertwined with the bright nuances of aldehydes and the tangy bitterness of a citrus duo of neroli and bergamot.

Heart noteis adorned with powdery floral shades of iris, jasmine, lily of the valley, and rose.
