Fahrenheit Le Parfum by Christian Dior was launched at the beginning of January 2014, offering the characteristic harmony of contrasts that define this line. The fragrance was created by Dior’s in-house perfumer Francois Demachy, who accentuated the oriental-spicy facet of the composition and stated that this new creation is not a caricature of the classic Fahrenheit fragrance, but an original, harmonious structure of notes that supports the history and the distinctive personality of the perfume. For the composition of Fahrenheit Le Parfum, natural, rare components were used, highlighting the sensual heat of hot leather and dancing in shades of oriental rhythm.
The fragrance unfolds with the most potent note of soft suede, complemented by undertones of licorice root and Sicilian mandarin. The heart of the composition provides a new sound, mixing violet leaf absolute and rum with the spiciness of coriander and Roman cumin. The base note features Bourbon vanilla, which emphasizes the beauty of the other ingredients, ensures the stability of the fragrance, and warmly caresses the skin.
