Mix with the oxidizer in a 1:1 ratio. For lightening hair by 3 levels, use a 12% oxidizer; for lightening by 2 levels, use a 9% oxidizer; and for lightening by 1 level, covering gray hair, or coloring hair the same shade or darker, use a 6% oxidizer. If you have less than 70% gray hair, you can simply color your hair with the chosen shade. If you have more than 70% gray hair, mix the chosen shade with the base color in a 1:1 ratio.
