A natural conditioning oil, sebum, comes from a gland at the base of every hair; brushing spreads it along the length of the hair giving it strength, suppleness and producing a healthy sheen.This is the BN3 “Handy” sized brush with a dark ruby colored handle.This brush has Boar Bristle and Nylon tufts which provide enough strength for normal to thick hair. This package comes with a special cleaner for this brush. Maintenance Do not use it on applications for which it was not designed. This brush should not be left continuously in strong sunlight. Ultra-violet light can perish the rubber and distort the handle.The pad and bristles need to be cleaned periodically. Either us a narrow toothbrush or the special Cleaning Brush to remove strands of hair or dust.Wash it occasionally. Never dip the Brush in soapy or hot water, use a cleaning brush. Leave the brush to dry with the pad facing downward. never dry the bristles with a towel. Do not use oils or spirits on the hairbrush.
