The MeLuna Soft Menstrual Cup in size M is designed for comfortable and safe use during menstruation. Made from high-quality thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), it fits gently against the body, does not cause discomfort, and is suitable even for women with sensitive mucous membranes. This reusable cup significantly reduces the need for disposable pads and tampons, thereby minimizing environmental impact. The MeLuna Soft Stem collects menstrual fluid without drying out the mucous membrane and does not leave textile fibers in the body. It can be used for any flow intensity, and the stem ensures easy insertion and removal.
Features of the MeLuna Soft Menstrual Cup Stem:
– Made from soft, hypoallergenic thermoplastic elastomer TPE;
– Does not dry out the mucous membrane or disrupt the natural vaginal environment;
– Suitable for sensitive women and those who experience discomfort using tampons;
– Easy to insert and remove thanks to the stem;
– Size M: diameter 41 mm, length 48 mm, capacity 28 ml;
– Holds more fluid than standard tampons and pads;
– Free from bleaches, deodorants, silicone, latex, or PVC.
Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Always wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding techniques you can try to find the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If in doubt, feel the base of the cup – it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel any dents, the cup has not fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
