Majirel Booster is a professional booster created to enhance cool tones and neutralize unwanted yellow hues. It gives the color a striking accent with a pure cool undertone, enhances highlights, and makes the result more graphic and controlled.

The booster is not used on its own and is exclusively added to Majirel dye. The Majirel Booster range allows colorists to precisely manage the shade: from subtle nuance corrections to bold color accents.

Majirel Boosters are highly pigmented, long-lasting coloring creams designed to enhance, intensify, or better neutralize the classic shades of Majirel or Majirouge. They are used as additives—depending on whether you want to add more warm shine or enhance the neutralization of cool tones. The range is intended for professional use only in beauty salons.

Allow for the enhancement of warm tones (e.g., orange/red/purple) or the addition of cool neutralization (e.g., blue/green/violet).
Compatible with Majirel and Majirouge colors.

The new Majirel formula ensures easier mixing and reduced ammonia odor.
Boosters act as concentrated “shine regulators”—adding a small amount to your mix adjusts the final tone without changing the color level.

They are used in two directions:
Warm tone enhancers: increase the richness of warm reflections.
Cool tone enhancers: enhance the neutralization of cool tones.

Complete Coloring (Enhancement/Neutralization): Mix at least 45 ml of Majirel base shade with up to 15 ml of Majirel Booster and 90 ml of developer. Recommended ratio: 0.25 booster + 0.75 color : 1.5 developer.
Contrast Coloring (Highlights on dark bases 1–6): Mix 7 g of Contrast Base with 3 g of booster and add 15 ml of developer. Ratio: 0.3 color booster + 0.7 contrast base : 1.5 developer.

To enhance color with warm tones or neutralize with cool tones, follow the instructions below:
Levels 10-9-8 =
1-6 ml of booster per 60 ml of Majirel and 90 ml of OTT Oxydant
Levels 7-6-5 =
Up to 15 ml of booster per 60 ml of Majirel and 90 ml of OTT Oxydant
Levels 4-3-2-1
Up to 30 ml of booster per 60 ml of Majirel and 90 ml of OTT Oxydant.

Mixing Ratio for Maji Contrast:
20 ml of booster + 40 ml of contrast base + 90 ml of OTT developer
12.5, 20, 30, or 40 vol
(3.75%-6%-9%-12%)
Processing time: 35 minutes.
When used on previously colored hair, choose 6% + 9% or 20 vol + 30 vol of OTT developer.
