Ida Warg Cocoa Self-Tanning Mousse is a sunless tanning mousse with a delightful coconut and chocolate scent. The mousse dries quickly on the skin, delivering a deep color once the DHA has fully developed. (The maximum result is visible after approximately 8 hours.) This new formula uses cocoa husk as a guide color. Cocoa husk provides a natural color guide for easier application and does not interfere with DHA (dihydroxyacetone) — the ingredient that gives the dead skin cells on the body a tanned appearance. Unlike the commonly used caramel dye, cocoa husk does not impart a direct brown color to products but offers a sunny aroma. Cocoa husk is a natural ingredient rich in polyphenols (antioxidants) that can counteract free radicals and protect skin cells. It also contains minerals and vitamins that help maintain and enhance skin elasticity. Cocoa husk is a byproduct of chocolate production, where ten tons of cocoa husk are produced for every ton of dried cocoa beans. It’s better to utilize the husks rather than discard them. The Cocoa Self-Tanning Mousse features a coconut and chocolate fragrance.
